In 1961, Otarion Hearing Aid Centre began testing and fitting hearing aids to the hard of hearing all over Cape Breton and Eastern Nova Scotia. Otarion strives to educate the public regarding hearing health care through educational seminars to nursing staff and personal care givers. Since 2001 Otarion has been associated with the annual International Drum Festival here in Cape Breton, to promote hearing protection, and has presented seminars on the topic to up and coming musicians. Otarion's staff is dedicated to provide the highest level of hearing care to all of the clients that they have had the privilege to serve. We are proud of our motto, "Helping people hear since 1961".
